Fly Fishing Adventures
in the Southern Appalachians

We are smack dab in the middle of a great summer fly fishing season in East Tennessee. The Hiwassee River has been a proven performer for us and will remain a steady producer as TVA increases flows for the next couple of months. The increased flow rate will make for even better drift boat fly fishing here. Dry fly afternoons are the norm.

Other great venues for the months of August and September are the Clinch, Holston and South Holston Rivers. The Clinch River is holding some really big fish now. The midge hatch is very strong and fishing is great. We like to get on the water early and sneak up on the big ones here. The Holston is a great weekend destination with some quality fish. The South Holston has good weekday releases and the sulfurs are loving it. Clouds of mayflies and dry fly fishing in the afternoons. Take a break and come join us the next few weeks on any one of these great rivers.

Give us a call and we will go fishing.
