Fly Fishing Float Trips

Float trips are our most popular trips and are a perfect way to experience big water fly fishing. Floating a pristine river while fly fishing for trout makes for a very special occasion. Our float trips allow anglers to reach water that receives less presure than the public access points. Our driftboats offer a comfortable and very effective platform for stalking fish. The drifters are very stable and safe. A driftboat manned by one of our experienced fly fishing guides can accommodate two anglers.

Multi boat trips can be planned to accommodate more than two anglers. This is perfect for your group of angling buddies as well as corporate business outings. Ask us about lodging options for groups.

We offer full and half day float trips on some of the best tailwaters in the south. Our full day trips include use of equipment, flies, leaders, tippet, cold drinks, snacks, and a deluxe shore lunch. Our half day trips include everything mentioned for the full day trips, minus the shore lunch.

Fishing license and guide gratuities not included.

Fly fishing Wade Trips Wade trips offer a great chance to get up close and personal with small streams and tailwaters (when the flows permit). These trips require a little more work from our anglers but can be equally rewarding. Our wade trips can be done by one or two anglers per guide. Some of our popular wade trips include destinations that feature wild trout. This includes rainbow trout, brown trout, and southern appalachian brook trout (called specs by most of the locals). The famous Tellico watershed offers wonderful wild trout fisheries as well as great stocked and delayed harvest waters. The Tellico watershed is a year round fishery. All of our tailwater destinations offer wade fishing oppurtunities with cooperative flows. We offer full and half day wade trips for one or two anglers, however, we can cover larger groups while maintaining a fishing guide-to-client ratio of 1 guide for two clients. Again, we cover all the terminal tackle, cold drinks, and deluxe lunch on full day wade trips. Half day trips include everything but the lunch.

Fly Fishing Instruction

We offer fly fishing classes with the focus being a total introduction to fly fishing. Our full day introduction consist of 4 hours of instruction, including equipment setup, knot tying, types of flies, identifying insects, fly selection and casting. A deluxe lunch with cold drinks is provided. The afternoon is set aside for fishing, where you get a chance to try out the new things you've learned while also trying to entice the fish.

Our half day introduction consist of two hours of instruction ranging from equipment and knot tying to casting instruction. Then we'll spend a couple hours on the water for hands on experience. Cold drinks and equipment are provided.
